Originally found in Morocco and Tunisia and more famously known as the face of tourism on the Rock of Gibraltar, Barbary Macaques are Europe s only species of primate.  These Monkeys have recently been re-classified from vulnerable to endangered status because some 300 are being taken from the wild each year destined for the illegal pet trade.
