Found throughout South America, in Panama, Columbia, Venezuela,
Brazil, Argentina, French Guyana, Uruguay, Peru, and Paraguay, the
Capybara is the world's largest rodent. They are semi-aquatic,
living in grassy wetland areas or close to rivers, and carry out
most of their activities on land using water as a refuge where they
swim and dive with ease.
