Folly Farmers have unlimited access to the park during opening hours.  Each employee may also apply for eight complimentary entry tickets (subject to duration of employment).

Training and Development Opportunities

As part of an ever growing business, there are numerous opportunities to develop your role and progress from Assistant to Supervisor and Senior Supervisor to Management roles.  Folly Farm is dedicated to developing our employee's skills and potential through a support/mentor network.

In-house training is provided for all job roles and access to further training is also available in the form of NVQ Qualifications in hospitality and customer service.  Other job relevant part time courses are also considered.

Suggestion Scheme

Boxes are located in each staff room for any ideas regarding improvements to Folly Farm.  All suggestions are raised regularly with the management team and entered into a prize draw.

Investor in People

Folly Farm Leisure Ltd has been accredited with the Investor in People Standard since 2002.  Investor in People is the national standard which sets out a level of good practice for the training and development of people to achieve business goals.  Investor in People is cyclical and engenders the culture of continuous improvement.  Most recently upheld in 2007, Folly Farm is committed to the development and progress of its staff.

The Social Committee

With over 150 full and part time members of staff, there is a vibrant social life within Folly Farm, engendering a fun and friendly working atmosphere.  Folly Farm has a strong staff social committee who organise events throughout the year, including the end of season Summer party, beach parties, quiz nights, football matches and car treasure hunts.

The Green Team

For all those with a love of the environment, there's the opportunity to join the Green Team and help raise awareness of local environmental issues, supporting the company's green ethos and coming up with ideas to further enhance Folly Farm's green credentials.
