ANOTHER ROYAL WEDDING ARRIVAL FOR FOLLY FARM

Baby William, a donkey, arrives just in time for the Royal Wedding

02 May 2011, Folly Farm, Kilgetty, Pembrokeshire:  Folly Farm celebrated the Royal Wedding with another arrival, a baby donkey, just one week after the arrival of baby zebra Dakari Middleton.  Farm staff have broken with tradition in naming their donkeys something beginning with D due to the baby's arrival so close to the Royal Wedding and have named him William.

Jane Hill, Farm Manager, said of the new arrival; "It's been a week of celebrations so we thought it apt to name our new arrival after his Royal Highness Prince William.  Mother and baby are doing extremely well and it was a real treat for visitors to the park on Royal Wedding day to have their photos taken with our William!"
