initiative to help keep children and parents together when they
visit the attraction

24 May 2010, Folly Farm, Kilgetty, Pembrokeshire: Keeping your children close to you in a wide open space with lots of exciting things to see can be a challenge, so Folly Farm has teamed up with Radio Pembrokeshire to launch the LABEL YOUR LITTLE ONE initiative. Bright yellow wristbands are being provided free of charge to parents on arrival at Folly Farm so they can tag their tots. By filling in the child's name and the parent's mobile number on the wristband the time taken to reunite lost children with their parents will be significantly reduced and, therefore, so will the distress caused to both parties. Launched this weekend ahead of the busy Bank Holiday and Whitsun half term, the wristband initiative is already proving to be extremely popular with parents.
Mrs Whiteman from Cardiff and mother to Rhys Daniel, thinks the wristbands are a fantastic idea; "It's so simple and quick. I've never been to an attraction and been offered a wristband before. You have to have your eyes peeled the whole time with toddlers so this will provide an extra level of reassurance."
Zoë Wright, PR and Marketing Manager at Folly Farm added; "Ahead of the busy Bank Holiday and Whitsun Half Term we wanted to have in place an initiative to help with lost children. The wristbands are being extremely well received by parents and have already played their part in reuniting lost children so we'd like to appeal to visitors to make sure they take advantage of these free wristbands."
Ellen Parry, Sales Director at Radio Pembrokeshire, explained why they are sponsoring the wristbands; "We're proud to be part of any initiative aimed at helping to keep children safe whilst they are in our County so were delighted to come on board with Folly Farm's Label Your Little One wristbands."
Visitors will be offered wristbands on arrival by reception
