  • Did you know that the original name for the butterfly was 'flutterby'?
  • A cheetah can run 76 kilometres per hour (46 miles per hour) - that's really fast! The fastest human beings runs only about 30 kilometres per hour (18 miles per hour).
  • Did you know there are two kinds of camels? One is the Arabian that lives in Western Asia and Northern Africa. It has one hump. And the second kind is called Bactrian which has two humps.
  • There are two kinds of elephants: the African that is taller and has larger ears and the Indian that is small and has smaller ears.

Leaving the house with really little ones in tow can be a daunting task...that's why at Folly Farm we aim to look after our youngest visitors!

We've got baby changing facilities, microwaves and baby soft play.  We're members of the Breastfeeding Welcome scheme and we've got also got a Parent and Baby Room in the Vintage Funfair for discreet breastfeeding, bottle/food warming facilities, changing stations and a quiet place to sit with your little one.

All this, plus children aged two and under are free!
