Disabled Visitors

We welcome disabled visitors at Folly Farm and many disabled groups visit us for the therapeutic benefits of seeing and handling our animals.

The site is wheelchair accessible with landscaped paths and ramps where required.  We have plenty of disabled parking spaces, disabled toilets and we also offer reduced entry for disabled visitors.

When it is required for a disabled visitor to fully access our attraction an accompanying carer is permitted free of charge.  It is helpful to our reception staff if proof of an individual's disability is provided as disabilities are not always apparent and carers not always required.  Proof of disabilty could include proof of disability entitlement (Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance), a blue car badge, etc.  Proof of position as carer would also be helpful if available.
