Marketing and Sales Officer

A creative and enthusiastic marketing professional is sought to join our busy PR & Marketing office at one of Wales’ leading tourist attractions.

Working as part of a small team, this is a varied, dynamic role with the opportunity to use your creative skills in social media campaigns, content creation & design work as well as monitor and drive sales for our new Holiday Park.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing key responsibilities will include;

  • Generating high quality, inspiring content for the company website and social media platforms to increase public engagement and brand awareness.
  • Oversee and drive sales for our Holiday Park, responding to inbound queries and reviews, conducting market research, analysing reports to seek out gaps in the market and liaise with booking providers, as well as provide operational support for arrivals.
  • Organising and overseeing the production of Holiday Park signage and advertising campaigns. You will be liaising with print/design companies as well as departmental managers to oversee the art work and ensure interpretation is in line with the business vision and the marketing strategy.
  • Acting as an ambassador for the company, maintaining and building rapport with internal/external customers as well as business associates.

 The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, preferably educated to degree level in marketing and have experience within the field. They must be self-motivated, highly organised and pro-active, with an eye for detail and excellent writing skills. Will also need to demonstrate the ability to engage with visitors, work to deadlines and prioritise work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate must also be flexible in their working hours, willing to work some weekends, Bank Holidays and occasional evening events.
