Working as part of a small team, this is a varied, dynamic role covering a range of HR functions.
You'll be assisting with recruitment to delivering company training such as inductions and overseeing the work experience programme. Reporting to the HR management team key responsibilities will include;
- Assisting with seasonal recruitment and delivering Company inductions.
- Organising and overseeing the work experience programme for the Company, liaising with departmental managers.
- Providing administrative support such as the maintenance of attendance records and producing regular staff newsletters.
- Acting as a central point of contact for employee relations.
The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of HR fundamentals, preferably educated to degree level in HR, with a CIPD qualification or equivalent experience. They must be self-motivated, highly organised and pro-active, with an eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills. Will also need to demonstrate the ability to work with discretion, to deadlines and prioritise work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate must also be flexible in their working hours, willing to work weekends, Bank Holidays and occasional evening events.
