We’re looking for a reliable outgoing personality full of enthusiasm and energy to join our busy finance and retail team.
Working as part of the finance team during the peak school holiday periods, you’ll be assisting with a range of cash office activities including the reconciliation of daily takings, preparing daily floats, attending to coin-operated machinery across the park and ATMs.
This will be shared with a retail role in which you’ll be engaging with our guests to help them find the perfect souvenir, gift or keepsake to help them remember their day with us. Key responsibilities include till operation, up-selling of products including keeper experiences and animal adoptions, stock replenishment and general cleaning/custodial duties.
As part of the Folly Farm team you’ll need to have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude. Be meticulous, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to multi-task, with an organised and thorough approach to work and experience in banking or cash counting/collection is essential. Proficiency in microsoft office particularly excel, word and the ability to work under pressure with a strong team spirit is also desirable.
Due to the nature of the business applicants must be flexible in their working hours and willing to work weekends/bank holidays.
