‘Black Bart’s Pirate Folly’ theatre show
Fluellen Theatre Company presents its pirate show written exclusively for us here at Folly Farm.
A Folly Farmer runs away to join Black Bart’s crew and learns how to be a pirate…”ooh argghhhhh”. Who better to learn the pirate trade from than Pembrokeshire’s legendary pirate Bartholomew Roberts aka Black Bart aka Barti Ddu?
This pantomime style show will get you shouting “shiver me timbers” with plenty of audience participation and thigh-slapping fun!
Please note: Even pirates need a rest sometimes so when the Fluellen Theatre Company are resting their cutlasses you can see Luke Jugglestruck’s magic show instead.
Treasure trails
We’re also laying on some pirate treasure trails so you can join Black Bart’s crew in their hunt for gold. Help them search for pieces of eight when they set off from Folly Farm’s very own pirate adventure playground. Please check the noticeboards around the park for meeting times.
So grab your cutlasses, don your hats and bring a parrot for a whole day of swashbuckling adventure at Folly Farm!
