Retail assistant

The role:

As part of our guest facing team, you’ll be engaging with our guests to help them find the perfect memento to help them remember their day with us.  A good eye for detail and presentation is desirable, as merchandise will need to be priced, bar coded, fully stocked and displayed attractively.  Daily duties include:

• Welcoming guests into the shop with a warm, friendly smile, assisting guests with any queries.
• Participating in stock demonstrations and upselling products to increase sales.
• Working on the till processing purchases, following protocols.
• Replenishing stock to ensure shop floor is always ready for service.
• Making sure the shop is clean and tidy, undertaking cleaning tasks such as emptying bins, dusting, mopping floors and general custodial duties.

Have you got an eye for detail and presentation? Are you friendly and people focused?

As part of the Folly Farm family, you’ll have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work effectively with others.  You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, with great attention to detail to help us exceed expectations. Cash handling experience is advantageous.
