Our campsite is located within walking distance of our award-winning family attraction. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a campsite near Tenby as we’re just a ten minute drive from this popular seaside resort and even closer to Saundersfoot. We’re also on the main bus route from Narberth to Tenby with a bus stop right outside our attraction.
Located on our touring park, our camping field is a short walk to our shared facilities building with plenty of hot water in our heated shower and toilet block. We also provide a washing up area, a laundry and a shared freezer for swapping over ice packs.
Pay once for unlimited entry to Folly Farm.
When camping with us, you get the pay once for entry offer to Folly Farm which means you can visit our attraction as many times as you like during your stay. Just add day entry tickets as an extra to your pitch booking
Camping at a zoo!
When you camp next door to our zoo you might be lucky enough to hear our animals whilst tucking into your breakfast or settling down for the evening. The sound of Hugo our African lion roaring is one you won’t hear at every campsite!

Useful information – Q&A
Q: Is the campsite open all year round?
A: Our campsite is now closed for 2020. It will re-open on 05 March 2021 and will close on 26 September 2021. Booking for 2021 are now open.
Q: Where are you in Pembrokeshire?
A: We’re in Begelly, just ten minutes from popular Pembrokeshire seaside resorts. So, if you’re looking for camping near Tenby or campsites near Saundersfoot then we’re ideally located. We’re also just ten minutes from the hugely popular market town of Narberth. Located and operated by the award-winning attraction Folly Farm, you’re within walking distance of one of Wales’ largest tourist attractions home to a zoo, farm animals, a vintage fairground and a whole host of indoor and outdoor play.
Q: When can I pitch up?
A: Pitches are available from 1pm and not before. We ask for you to vacate by 11am on your departure day. If you’d like to visit our attraction before 1pm on your arrival day then you can park in our attraction car park and walk up to the holiday park to collect you park passes if you’ve purchased them. If you’d like to pay one last visit to the vintage fairground or you want to say goodbye to the penguins on your departure day then again you can pack up and park in our attraction car park.
Q: What additional cleaning measures have you put in place?
A: Our recycling station is disinfected three times a day and has a hand sanitisation station outside. We ask you to use these before and after touching our bins. Our drinking water taps cleaned regularly throughout the day. Our reception booth has hand sanitiser on the outside so please make use of this and refrain from touching the door handles or windows, thank you. Our facilities building is closed between 11am and 1pm to allow for enhanced cleaning.
Q: Is there a minimum stay?
A: During school holidays we require a minimum booking of three nights. During this time our arrival days are Mondays and Fridays. So, a three night booking is Friday to Monday, a four night booking is Monday to Friday and a seven night booking is Friday to Friday. Outside of the school holidays you can book for just one night if you wish and arrive on any day of the week.
Q: Is entry to Folly Farm included in the price?
A: The prices you see in the booking results are for the camping pitch only but you can add entry to your booking as an extra. You’ll only pay our standard day entry prices once and this gives you unlimited entry to Folly Farm for the duration of your stay. At the moment, due to the Covid-19 pandemic we’re asking all visitors to our attraction to pre-book their visit so we can control numbers for social distancing. If you’re staying with us you will not need to pre-book your visit as we’ve accounted for you in our daily capacity.
Q: How many people can stay on each pitch?
A: There is a maximum of six people per pitch. Four are included in the price for the camping pitches. You can add additional adults and children at the point of booking. In line with Welsh Government guidance all bookings must be from the same household, or extended household up to a maximum of six people (excluding under 11s) and we respectfully ask you to remain within your pitch area and follow social distancing guidelines when walking around the site, thank you.
Q: Is there a quiet time on your park?
A: We’re a family park so we ask all guests to be inside their tents by 10pm and to keep noise to a minimum. Please be respectful of your neighbours and please let our wardens know if you have been disturbed late at night.
Q: Do you have any electric pitches?
A: We only have non-electric grass tent pitches on our campsite. Our pitches are 8m x 8m. Gazebos are permitted, as long as they are within your pitch area, at no extra charge. Please note rock tent pegs are advisable as the ground is quite hard.
Q: Can I park by my pitch?
A: Our campsite has parking on hardstanding at the front of the camping field. One car can be parked on the hardstanding per tent. Additional vehicles will need to be parked in our attraction car park and there is no additional charge for this.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Absolutely, we love animals here, so by all means bring your dog. We’re sorry, but we can’t allow them into the attraction so please check our dog policy for details of day kennels nearby as they can’t be left unattended in tents. And it goes without saying that we expect you to clean up after your dog, keep them on a lead and respect your holiday neighbours by keeping them quiet at all times.
Q: Can I bring my bike?
A: Sure thing. We’re bike friendly. We just ask you to respect the social distancing guidelines on site and supervise your children when they’re cycling.
