Touring park

Our touring caravan park has super-sized fully-serviced pitches to make your holiday as easy as possible. Booking now open for holidays from 19 June 2020.

***Important update: Holiday Park opening postponed.***

We’ve taken the difficult but necessary decision to postpone the opening of our new touring park until 5th March 2021.

As it was not due to open until 19th June 2020 we were hoping we could wait a little longer to see what the situation was with Covid-19 but with our staff now on lockdown, building work has stopped. We maybe could rush to get it open for late Summer/Autumn when restrictions are lifted but there are still so many unknowns we feel it’s better to take a decision now.

We’re so sorry to those of you who’d booked but we’d ask you to still consider your holiday in Pembrokeshire. We’re blessed with many amazing touring parks in the area who’ll be grateful for your continued support when this is over and our attraction will be open for you to visit.

Thank you for your support for our Holiday Park, we hope to welcome you next year.

Bookings information

Touring park refunds – in most cases we’ve only taken deposits with the balance not being due until two weeks before the arrival date. We will be contacting all guests to see if they wish to move their booking to next year. If you would prefer a refund then we will be arranging these in the coming weeks.

Showman’s Wagons refunds – with regards to our Showman’s Wagons, you’ll need to contact our booking partner Hoseasons, who you made the booking with, and check their terms and conditions.

Pitch up at our touring park right next door to our award-winning family attraction

Book a pitch in beautiful countryside surroundings in our 100 acre site that sits alongside Folly Farm – Wales’ top paid-for attraction, holder of a Visit Wales Gold Award. Home to a zoo, a farm, a fairground and a whole host of adventure play, you’ll need more than a day to explore everything so when you stay with us you only pay once for entry and can enjoy the attraction for free for the duration of your stay. Just add park day entry tickets to your booking for unlimited fun!

We’ve thought of everything, so you don’t have to.

We understand you don’t want to worry about whether your caravan or motorhome will fit, so we’ve made all our pitches super-sized (12m x 10m). Of course you may want to pitch your campervan, trailer tent or indeed tent. And that’s fine with us.

Our super pitches have a large hardstanding area and a grassy area for picnics and play!

We want to keep things as simple as possible to help with your holiday planning so our prices are all inclusive.

There are no additional charges for our pitch facilities;

  • Hard-standing – all our pitches have gravel hard-standing and a grass area
  • Awnings – feel free to pitch an awning next your caravan at no extra cost
  • Services bollard – for your drinking water, waste water disposal, 16amp electric hook up
  • Free standard WiFi – standard WiFi is included free of charge
  • Dogs – we’re a dog friendly touring park so there’s no extra charge for bringing your furry friend

Pick your zone

Our touring site is arranged into four zones to reflect our four attractions at Folly Farm – Zoo (green), Barn (orange), Fairground (red) and Play (blue). You can choose which zone to stay on and it goes without saying that the pitches in each zone will be named accordingly. So, you you might find yourself pitching up at pirate cove, staying at sloth, residing at rabbit or camping at chair-o-plane!

Useful information – Q&A

Q: When does your touring park open?

A: Very soon. Building work has already begun and our first guests will be staying from 19 June 2020.

Q: Is the touring park open all year round?

A: To begin with our touring park will just be open for the season from 19 June 2020 until 02 November 2020.

Q: When can I arrive?

A: Pitches are available from 1pm and we ask for you to vacate by 10am on your departure day. But we’re not the fun police so if you’d like to pay one last visit to the vintage fairground or you want to say goodbye to the penguins then we can arrange for you to leave your caravan or motorhome in a holding area on a first come, first served basis. Just speak to our park warden during your stay.

Q: Is there a minimum stay?

A: During school holidays we require a minimum booking of three nights. During this time our arrival days are Mondays and Fridays. So, a three night booking is Friday to Monday, a four night booking is Monday to Friday and a seven night booking is Friday to Friday. Outside of the school holidays you can book for just one night if you wish and arrive on any day of the week.

Q: Is entry to Folly Farm included in the price?

The prices you see in the booking results are for the pitch only but you can add entry to your booking as an extra. You’ll only pay our standard day entry prices once and this gives you unlimited entry to Folly Farm for the duration of your stay.

Q: How many people can stay on each pitch?

A: There is a maximum of six people per pitch included in the price. Although, we’re not going to make you leave someone at home, so if you need to add an extra person or two then please just contact us.

Q: Can I pitch a tent?

A: Our super-sized pitches have been designed with motorhomes, trailer tents and caravans in mind. But we’re happy if you want to pitch a tent. The tent must be pitched on the hard-standing areas so you’ll need rock pegs suitable for gravel pitches. The hard-standing is 20mm gravel so we’d recommend you also bring a heavy-duty tarpaulin to protect your groundsheet. Our pitches are the same price whatever you pitch on them, so you might find camping with a tent is more expensive than more traditional campsites.

Q: Can I bring my dog?

A: Absolutely, we love animals here, so by all means bring your dog to stay in your tourer or motorhome. We’re sorry, but we can’t allow them into the attraction so please check our dog policy for details of day kennels nearby as they can’t be left unattended in caravans. And it goes without saying that we expect you to clean up after your dog and respect your holiday neighbours by keeping them quiet at at all times.

Q: Can I bring my bike?

A: Sure thing. We’re bike friendly. We’ve also provided bike racks in the communal areas such as the shower block and children’s play area – just bring your own bike lock!
