Kitchen Supervisor

The outlet:

Predominantly based in our Hungry Farmer kitchen delivering a fast, efficient food service. With a varied menu including The Folly Burger, flatbreads, bolognaise and curries. Always operating to the highest of standards, with a 5* food hygiene rating, our kitchen team will prepare and serve 300 – 400 meals a day at the height of the season.

We pride ourselves on providing great service to our guests. As part of, and working alongside our supervisory team, you’ll be supporting the management team by leading a small team and overseeing the day to day running of the kitchen with key responsibility for:

Are you a Kitchen Team Leader looking for a new challenge, or an experienced kitchen team member who is ready to take the next step? Do you have energy, enthusiasm and an eye for detail? We’re looking for a team player with the ability to train, support and mentor team members. You’ll need to demonstrate a high standard of food knowledge, and the ability to work at speed and with efficiency under pressure. A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and excellent communication is a must.

The ideal candidate will have previous catering/kitchen experience. Food hygiene and allergen qualifications or willingness to undertake these qualifications is essential.

HoursApproximately 40 hours per week. Working hours vary on a 7-day rota basis.  Due to the nature of the business weekend work will be required, including bank holidays.
Typical daily hours are 9am – 4pm/5pm. No evenings.
