Narisha and Athena join Maja in our new bongo enclosure.
Maja, who joined the Folly Farm zoo family earlier this month, has now been joined by two more females, taking our herd of bongo to three. There are thought to be fewer than 150 Eastern bongo left in the wild so we’re humbled to have three here at Folly Farm.
Narisha and Athena joined us from Chester Zoo and are currently making themselves at home in our new, purpose-built bongo enclosure. Welcome to the family! You can read all about our new bongo enclosure here.
