Folly zoo listed in Trip Advisor's '10 Best Zoos in the UK'

We’re thrilled to be listed in Trip Advisor’s ’10 Best Zoos & Aquariums in the UK’ according to reviews…At number five no less!

We’re so honoured to be recognised alongside so many other wonderful animal organisations as the fifth best zoo in the UK according to Trip Advisor reviews! A huge thank you goes out to you –  our lovely guests – for your continued support, and for taking the time to post a review on Trip Advisor (as well as various other platforms)!

We’re delighted to be listed in Trip Advisor’s ‘Top 10 Zoos and Aquariums in the UK’!

We currently house around 100 species of animal on the zoo alone – including many that are classed as rare, vulnerable and endangered on the IUCN Red List. From Eastern black rhino, Humboldt penguins, giraffes, and African lions, to pink pigeons, lemurs, galliwasps, pancake tortoises and numerous birds, reptiles and amphibians such as the golden mantella frogs.

We belong to 36 managed breeding programmes through our membership of the European Association of Zoos and Aquariums (EAZA), and support a number of conservation charities that work on the front line fighting to protect our wildlife and their habitats.

This recognition is most certainly down to the hard work of our amazingly passionate and dedicated animal care team – for putting animal welfare above all else.

“We’re delighted to have the zoo rated so highly on Trip Advisor and appreciate everyone leaving us so many great reviews. As always, we’re super proud of the whole team – from operations, grounds, farm and housekeeping staff, to the office, retail, maintenance and catering departments, Everyone works so hard to deliver the best experience possible for our guests on a daily basis! Another thank you goes to all of the animal care staff who take such great care of an array of species across both the farm and zoo.” – Chris, MD

Happy guests = happy team!
