The role:

We have an opportunity for someone with a love of food to join our kitchen team. You’ll be working as part of a small team to prepare and cook food, help keep the kitchen running smoothly all while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and guest service. Daily duties include:

• Working in a range of outlet kitchens across the park including the Hungry Farmer Restaurant and Burger Bar. These are high output outlets delivering a varied menu including burgers, lasagne, curry etc.
• Providing 5* food hygiene standards, ensuring strict, food safety protocols are followed, and cleaning schedules maintained.
• Restocking the area, and forward planning to ensure effective service is achieved.
• Ensuring the kitchen is always clean, tidy, and ready for service as well as supporting the outlet with clearing tables and washing up when required.
• Training may also be given in other areas of the park during the winter

Who we’re looking for:

As part of the Folly Farm team, you’ll need to have the ability to work under pressure and demonstrate excellent communication skills. The ability to prepare and present food to a high standard and in accordance with food hygiene requirements is a must.

You must be 18+ years with previous catering experience. Food hygiene and allergen qualifications or the willingness to undertake these qualifications is essential.

Hours	Full time hours during the season (Feb – Oct) and part time hours; winter hours also available (Nov – Jan) including weekends – to be discussed at interview.
