Seasonal Retail Supervisor

The role:

We’re looking for a reliable, friendly, enthusiastic person to join our Retail team. Liaising with the management team you’ll be responsible for ensuring our Retail outlet is fully operational to meet the needs of our guests with responsibility for a wide range of tasks from visual merchandising, to driving sales through performance excellence, and team leading. As part of the customer facing team, you will need to be passionate about delivering exceptional guest service with the ability to troubleshoot and work under pressure.

Daily duties will include:

• Assisting the management team with shop floor administration with responsibility for the opening and closing of tills including that of end of day reconciliation, conducting all aspects of the cash handling functions to ensure a smooth operation, as well as annual pass and animal adoption sales.
• Supporting with morning set up and end of day close down procedures.
• Organising and delegating daily tasks, as well as training and guiding all team members to ensure they have the knowledge and skill to fulfil their duties.
• Take the lead with guest service, promoting our FAMILY values and troubleshoot to ensure we achieve our mission to exceed expectations.
• Ensure the shop floor is always presentable and ready for service, maintaining displays to a high standard, knowledge of stock lines is upheld to assist with picking, and cleanliness schedules fulfilled.

As part of our supervisory family, you’ll bring energy and enthusiasm to the role.  We’re looking for someone who is organised, with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure, in order to exceed guests’ expectations; creating magical moments for families to treasure.  A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work effectively with others is essential. You must also be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, with great attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within retail, with supervisory experience being advantageous.

Hours	Approximately 40 hours per week. Working hours vary on a 7 day rota basis.  Due to the nature of the business weekend work will be required, including bank holidays.
