To adopt a donkey just click through to the donkey adoption page and choose if you’d like a bronze, silver or gold adoption. You can adopt a donkey for yourself or for someone special and we’ll also send a special gift message along with your cuddly donkey in your adoption pack.
Your donkey adoption will last 12 months, and 10% of the profits will help raise money for our conservation partners. So you can feel all ‘fuzzy’ inside about your wonderful gift.
Schools and group organisations can also purchase our adoption packages. Please call the office on 01834 812731 to make arrangements.
We’re proud to be home to lots of adorable donkeys including our rare breed Poitou Donkeys, Maisie and Matilda. The sisters are the World’s largest donkey breed and have amazing shaggy coats and huge ears!
They were in high demand for agricultural work in the 18th Century but since the advent of agricultural machinery demand has dropped off and the breed became at risk. Conservation efforts have been made to protect this impressive breed and we’re delighted to have them here as part of our rare breed centre.

If there are any problems with your gift pack on arrival, please email photos and we’ll send a replacement.
We only send our adoption packs to UK postal addresses (excluding NI), the cost of postage is included in the price.
Our adoptions last 12 months and are for the species as a whole rather than a specific, named animal.
