What struck me about the whole of Folly Farm is how clean and tidy it all is, the attention to detail in all aspects of the park is fab. We really did enjoy the experience so much. Thank you!

Oh my goodness what an experience! I booked the rhino feeding experience for my husband’s birthday. It was INCREDIBLE. My husband and I will never forget being so close to those magnificent, majestic animals and feeding them carrots. My father and I decided to gift each other a giraffe and rhino experience for Christmas. We were most excited for the rhinos as we really didn’t know what to expect but it wasn’t to be hand feeding them carrots! Peter was absolutely fantastic and had so many stories to tell us. We couldn’t believe how kind and gentle they were, and we even got to give them a scratch behind the ear! We will be back!

Thank you for a wonderful experience. Feeding the rhinos by hand fresh carrots. We met Callum the keeper and he was very polite and very knowledgeable about the rhinos. One of the best experiences of my life! The rhino’s were amazing. I fell in love with Dakima, she was so affectionate and loved a ear and bum scratch at the end. Nkosi was a real character, he’s so funny and loved his carrots. I will never forget my day with the rhino’s it was perfect and I couldn’t of wished for better. It was great, the animals were well cared for with plenty of space. Their manners were impeccable taking the food very gently from our hands. All in all a very much appreciated opportunity to interact with these fascinating characters.

I had a fantastic time. The rhinos were incredible and looked very relaxed and well cared for. It was great that it’s just the keeper (Dan) and I with the rhinos during the experience so I didn’t feel like I was in the way or felt rushed. Dan was very friendly and knowledgeable. We would recommend Folly Farm as we found it was for all ages, booked the luxury lodge holiday with some animal experiences and it was amazing. We did three experiences in all, definitely not just for children, Dan and Pippa were very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed learning about the animals, it was the next best thing to a Safari holiday.

It was a really great day out and it really seems like the animal handlers really care about the animals you keep. When we fed the rhinos, Dan was really informative and friendly. He knew a lot about the rhinos and it was clear they felt safe with him and us even though we were strangers. It was nice to know that the money for the experience was going to a good cause to help stop poaching.
