Roar-some Lion Day fun in store this Summer!

Our Lion Day celebrations are back this August – with plenty of extra family fun and themed activities all centred around our magnificent big cats in celebration of World Lion Day.

Guests will have the opportunity to learn all about our Pride of Pembrokeshire and join in with the activities taking place throughout the day. There’ll also be a chance to listen to a range of talks from our experienced and passionate zookeepers, and we’ll be joined by James from the Safina Lion Conservation Fund – one of the many conservation partners we support. These guys work so hard to raise awareness and much needed funds to help conserve African lions in the wild, who are sadly a vulnerable species with populations continuing to decrease, according to the IUCN Red List for the species.

From raffles and games, you could learn something new or win some roar-some lion themed prizes – all whilst helping raise money for our conservation efforts.
