Two More Endangered Eastern Bongo Join the Zoo

We welcome two more critically endangered eastern bongo to the zoo family.

Our zoo team recently welcomed two more female eastern bongo to our purpose-built enclosure on the zoo.

Koffi and Jua, (both three years old) joined us from Howletts Wildlife Park in Kent and arrived with us last month. They’ve settled in beautifully with our original girl, Maja, making a herd of three females.

Keepers welcomed the two new arrivals who were transported by Ventura Wildlife Services last month.

There are thought to be fewer than 150 Eastern bongo left in the wild so we’re humbled to have three here at Folly Farm. Welcome to the family girls!
