Join us on select days throughout the year as we highlight the work of our conservation partners and the wider eco-community. There'll be activities, demonstrations and opportunities to talk to those in the know...

Wednesday 22nd February
Farm Day – supporting the Rare Breeds Survival Trust
Could your little one be a farmer of the future? There will be a variety of activities throughout the day including animal care demonstrations, treasure hunts and interactive games. You might even bump into Folly Farm mascot Henry the Horse trotting round the barn! We will also be raising some vital funds for the Rare Breeds Survival Trust, one of our conservation partners that helps to preserve rare breeds across the UK.

Wednesday 5th April
Forest Daysupporting World Land Trust
Come and discover the wonder of the world’s forests through interactive activities. Learn all about the importance of forests as nature hotspots and how they’re tackling climate change. Test your knowledge on native tree identification and discover how you can help protect them. This awareness day will focus on the work of the World Land Trust, an organisation that purchases and protects huge areas of rainforest across the globe.

Wednesday 31st May
Wildlife Vet Day – supporting Wildlife Vets International
Have you ever wondered how you x-ray a meerkat, vaccinate a lion, or give a pedicure to a giraffe?! Join us for our wildlife vet day to learn more. Uncover the vital work of conservation charity, Wildlife Vets International, and discover how their work helps to save species. Also, what it’s like to be a wildlife vet with demonstrations and activities throughout the day.

Monday 31st July
World Ranger Daysupporting Dogs4Wildlife and the Red Panda Network
Help us celebrate the work of rangers this world ranger day. Rangers put themselves on the frontline of wildlife protection, often putting their own lives at risk. We’ll be supporting the work of the Red Panda Network and Dogs4Wildlife and letting you know about the work their rangers do to protect some of the world’s most endangered species. You’ll also be able to learn all about our red pandas at our one-off red panda keeper talk and feed.

Thursday 10th August
World Lion Daysupporting Safina Lion Conservation
We’ll be joined by James Welch, founder of Safina Lion Conservation for a day celebrating these incredible big cats. Discover how Folly Farm is helping to protect lions in the wild and observe them up close at our lion feeding demonstration. You can also join our mascot Llew the Lion for hi-fives and photo opportunities!

Wednesday 23rd August
Primate Daysupporting BMAC
Bring your little monkeys to meet ours! Learn all about our closest relatives at our one-off feeds, demonstrations, and talks. There will be interactive activities to keep your monkeys, and ours, entertained. As well as an appearance from Folly Farm mascot Lily the Lemur! This day will highlight the important work of the Barbary Macaque Awareness and Conservation charity that help to protect barbary macaques in the wild and rescue macaques from the pet trade.

Wednesday 30th August
Sealife Daysupporting NARC
Dive into Folly Farm this August at our Sealife Day! Learn about the work of local conservation partner, Neptune’s Army of Rubbish Cleaners and how their work helps keep the Pembrokeshire coast clean and tidy for wildlife and visitors to enjoy. Discover how you and your family can help sea life flourish. Our very own Pedro Penguin mascot will join our penguin keepers to let you know all about Folly Farms’ sealife, the flock of Humboldt and Macaroni penguins.
