Festive Folly Farm Fun!
Ho, ho, ho…This is a magical time of year to visit during our Winter Weekends!
Too early to start talking about Christmas? Never! With the festive season creeping up fast – it’s time to start planning those magical days out with the family!
We’ll be open daily until 1 November before closing on weekdays. We’ll then be open on Saturdays and Sundays only throughout winter from 7 November until 20 December. We’ll also even be open on Fridays in December including the 4, 11 and 18, for extra festive fun (and to allow schools and the chance to visit on a weekday)! Take a look at everything we have going on this winter:
Santa’s Grotto
Meet the main man and his elves at our magical Santa’s Grotto. The Folly Farm elves are on hand to bring that extra bit of sparkle to your grotto experience. Santa’s brought gifts for the little ones, plus there’s mulled wine and a mince pie for the adults which always helps spread the Christmas cheer.
The price for our Grotto is just £9.50 per child and includes a lovely gift. No pre-booking is required – just head to the grotto when you’re ready to meet Santa! Cash is preferred (with a free to use cash machine available outside our gift shop), but card payments are also accepted.
Meet our Snow Princess and Ice Queen at our festive Snow Globe
You may spot a character or two during your visit this winter. Step inside our seasonal Snow Globe, where you can meet our Ice Queen or Snow Princess. It’s a perfect photo opportunity!
Santa’s Frosty Flyover
Our virtual reality ride in the fair is also getting everyone into the seasonal spirit with a fun and festive sleigh ride journey!
Decorate your own Gingerbread Man
Head over to the Fairground Tavern (located in our Vintage Fairground), to enjoy a refreshing festive tipple after a visit to the Snow Globe (or before finishing our free Gingerbread Prize Trail)!
Little ones can also decorate their very own gingerbread man treat! They’ll be provided with a kit including; Gingerbread man, some icing and a selection of sweets to get creative. Kits are available from the Fairground Tavern and there’s an additional charge per child to cover this.
Theming, photo ops and festive treats…
Lots of photo op areas available and magical theming throughout to get everyone in the Christmas spirit! There’ll also be plentiful of scrummy treats at our food and beverage outlets. Luxury hot chocolates, mince pies, mulled wine, festive baguettes and warming meals… You won’t be left hungry!
Gingerbread Trail
Prize trail forms can be collected from admissions. Can you spot all of the Gingerbread Men hidden around the park? Post your forms back to us before you leave to be in with a chance of winning some great prizes!

Additional charges:
- There’s an additional charge to visit Santa in his grotto and receive a gift of £9.50 per child.
- The Snow Globe experience
- VR ride operates on a token system. Frosty Flyover is two tokens per person OR you can use your ride wristbands
- Decorate your own Gingerbread Man kits are available at an additional cost per child and available to purchase from the Fairground Tavern in the fairground.
- All indoor and outdoor rides are subject to an additional charge.
Don’t forget…
To complete your Winter wonderland experience don’t forget to visit our magical indoor vintage fairground rides (tokens and wristbands apply) and complete our Gingerbread Trail for a chance to win a prize!
When you’re finished meeting the big man – head on out and try and find one of our hidden cards in our card hunt – hand in to staff if you’re lucky enough to find one and you’ll win a prize!
Our gift shop also has a great selection of toys, books, gifts and clothing – a great chance to purchase those stocking fillers ahead of the big day!
Stay at our Holiday Park this Christmas
Are you looking to make your Christmas extra special this year? You can now stay with us over the Christmas break in one of our luxury lodges or beautiful holidays cottages – both complete with hot tubs and all of the cosy extras to make your stay with us a magical one to remember. So whether you’re a family of 4, 5, 6, 7 or 10 – we have something for you!
Looking for something more quirky? Our Showman’s Wagons are also available to book.
Dates available for a seven night stay from 21 – 28 December – you can book through our website – or you can head over to our booking partners Hoseasons who can assist you.
Please note that the attraction is CLOSED during this time – but you can enjoy a prime location to many local attractions, restaurants, beaches and towns, in five star, beautifully themed accommodation to suit an array of group numbers. Some of our lodges are also pet friendly, so your pooch can also join you for Christmas (as they should)!
