Our rhino encounter gives you the chance to feed our crash of black rhino.

Priced at £75 (or £90 including a day entry ticket) and suitable for ages 10 and up. Your rhino feeding experience will last at least 20 minutes.

Go behind the scenes at our black rhino house and see the keeper’s yard.

You’ll be welcomed by one of our rhino keepers and given a short talk about our rhinos and conservation. You’ll then be taken behind the scenes in the keeper’s yard to learn about the work of a rhino keeper and you’re bound to see some rhino poo! Then you’ll get to meet one of our rhinos and have the opportunity to hand feed them, if they want to.

This is also your chance to ask our expert rhino keepers all about the animals in their charge.

Your rhino feeding experience will last at least 20 minutes. It includes a cuddly toy rhino or a mug to take home so you can remember your special day.

Need to know

Rhino experiences must be booked well in advance as there’s only one session available per day for a maximum of two people from the same household.

This experience takes place inside the rhino enclosure and only those taking part (or their guardian) may be present to not overwhelm our rhinos.

Our rhino experience is only suitable for those aged 10 or over.

"What an amazing experience. Interaction with the rhinos was absolutely unbelievable, the three rhinos all have different personalities. The female was so receptive to feeding and I was able to feed her and even tickle behind her ear.
