Folly Farm wins 'Best Day Out in Wales' at the 2015 National Tourism Awards

Wales’ best places to stay, eat and enjoy a day out were honoured at the National Tourism Awards for Wales 2015, organised by Visit Wales.

Folly Farm are celebrating picking up the award at Wednesday night’s event at the Vale Resort in Glamorgan and can officially claim the title of Best Day Out in Wales for the third time.

Chris Ebsworth, Folly Farm’s director, said:

“We are delighted to have won the Best Day Out in Wales award for the third time. There is no better measure of our success than receiving this recognition from our industry peers. We are proud of the small part we play in the wonderful tourism offering that is Wales and we proudly accept this award on behalf of our loyal visitors and dedicated staff”.

Pembrokeshire as a county were big winners on the night with awards going to Clydey Cottages in Boncath which was named Best Place to Stay Self Catering and The Grove in Narberth also took home the Tourism Skills Development award for its dedication to staff training.Folly Farm team collecting the Best Day Out in Wales award
