We've struck gold...again!

And we’re not talking about Black Bart’s treasure chest.

Oh no, we’re talking about a precious gold award from Visit Wales. Now that’s real treasure for those in the tourism industry.

It’s for attractions that achieve excellence for their facilities and customer service under the Visit Wales’ Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Service (VAQAS). So you can always be confident of a great day out at a gold-rated attraction. We’ve held it since 2016.

Folly Farm’s zoo curator, Tim Morphew, proudly shows our Visit Wales gold award to our lizards

Zoë Wright, head of marketing at Folly Farm, said;

“An industry award is always gratefully received but the Visit Wales gold attraction standard is highly prized. Their assessors check out every aspect of a day at Folly Farm; from going to see the zoo animals, to attending meet and greets in the Jolly Barn; from the cleanliness of our loos to the friendliness of our team.

“No stone is left unturned. And because it’s anonymous, we can’t plan for a visit, so it’s all the more rewarding knowing that we’re delivering to a gold standard every day. It’s testament to our hardwording team who pride themselves on delivering the best day out possible and helping to create magical memories for families.”
