Zoo talks and animal feeds
Ever wondered how fast penguins can swim or what colour a giraffe’s tongue is? Then you’ll love our daily zoo talks. This is also your chance to ask our keepers all about the animals they look after.
11.30 Rhino talk at Kifaru Reserve

Jolly Barn activities
Our daily meet and greets with the barn animals have been replaced with talks and workshops to enable more social distancing as a temporary measure due to latest government advice in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Land train ride
All aboard! You’ll love this free tour around our outdoor farm paddocks on our vintage themed tractor and trailer ride.
The ride takes place on land across the road from our main park. This area is accessed through the underpass, which is located at the exit to the Jolly Barn by the barn owls.
11.00 – 15.00 The land train leaves the station on the hour.
During the local Easter, May and summer school holidays the land train runs every 20 minutes between 11am and 4pm.
Shows and appearances
Every day there’s the chance to meet our characters on their daily walkabouts. Henry Horse can’t wait to meet you. Pedro the Penguin is p-p-p-particularly excited. But Llew the Lion is a bit more laid back about the whole thing!
11.15 – 11.45 Meet one of our characters on their daily walkabout around the Fairground entrance and shop entrance areas.
There’s the chance to hear our magnificent theatre organ, a really rare treat.
11.00 and 16.00 Hear our Mighty Wurlitzer organ play in the vintage fairground, you’ll find the organ on a specially built platform just above the entrance to the Follies Theatre, near the Funfair Restaurant.
Please note on the days when the park shuts at 16.00, the final Wurlitzer play will be at 15.00.
