The role:

We’re looking for a practical, versatile and enthusiastic person to join our team. This is a varied role where you’ll assist the Farm team in the mornings with feeding and cleaning routines, before you move to the Operations team, and work across a range of areas including admissions, rides and park presentation.

Daily duties typically include:

• Undertaking feeding and cleaning routines on the Farm, mucking out and helping to ensure our animals are well cared for, husbandry and welfare standards are upheld, working with a range of species from ferrets to poultry and sheep.
• Within the Farm role you may also be trained to deliver meet and greet sessions, providing guests with a fun and educational day out.
• Welcoming guests on admissions, processing entry tickets and cash handling.
• Operating our classically restored vintage fairground and outside amusement rides.
• Conducting daily cleaning tasks to ensure the park is clean, tidy and ready for service including litter picking, emptying bins and general cleaning.
• Working independently and as part of a team, to strict health and safety protocols.

We’re looking for someone reliable and hard-working, with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude to deliver our mission to exceed expectations. Excellent communication, time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in line with the daily timetable is essential in this environment.

You’ll need to be adaptable and willing to learn to carry out a range of duties.A full, clean driving licence is required, with experience and/or qualifications in animal care advantageous.
