Six bundles of joy arrive at Penguin Coast

We’re delighted to have welcomed another six penguin chicks to our Penguin coast enclosure.

It’s our fifth batch of chicks since the Humboldt penguins arrived in 2013. That’s a 100% breeding success every season and credit to our penguin keepers who do an amazing job keeping the penguins happy and healthy.

Once the chicks have graduated penguin nursery, where they will be taught by our penguin keepers to feed for themselves, they will join the 25 Humboldt penguins and Folly Farm’s latest additions, the four male Macaroni penguins, in the main pool.
